Internship Programmes

Our internship programmes offer an invaluable experience for undergraduates aspiring towards a career in the world utilities market. Learn what it's like to be part of an international team that's constantly innovating and setting new standards of excellence.

Malaysia, Paka & Pasir Gudang

Since 1994, YTL Power Generation (a wholly-owned subsidiary of YTL Power International) has been offering internships for students seeking placement for industrial training in various fields such as mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineering. Business students have also come onboard for training at the Head Office in Kuala Lumpur.

Many local and foreign institutions of higher learning recognise the power stations as an ideal training ground, as students are given the opportunity to earn hands-on experience in a variety of tasks related to their fields of study.

Several graduates have also returned to the power stations to conduct feasibility studies related to their post-graduate studies.
